Sasha Plavsic, the founder of ILIA Beauty, has made it her task to give high-quality natural cosmetics a high-end look. She has been working as a fashion and beauty expert in Los Angeles for years. Upon her return to her hometown Vancouver she requested that her mother take a closer look at the ingredients contained in her day-to-day lip balm. The partially dubious list of ingredients was the trigger that led her to establish her own brand.
ILIA Beauty products are made up of 85% bioactive plant extracts, such as jojoba oil or cocoa butter, that are sourced from controlled organic agriculture. The ingredients are sourced from organic farmers and processed in a certified organic lab.
